Extended deadline for the migration to ISO 45001

Due to the situation created by the COVID-19 outbreak the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) has decided to extend the migration period to ISO 45001 for OH&S management systems with 6 months, as it says here.

OHSAS 18001 certificates are now valid until the latest 30.09.2021.

RIGCERT encourages its clients to perform the migration of their OH&S management systems to ISO 45001:2018 but, in case this process cannot be completed, the regular surveillance audit for 2020 will be performed using OHSAS 18001 as audit criteria and the expiration date of the certificate will be extended until 30.09.2021.
